Our Story
TC Veterinary Surgery was founded by Dr. Tannetje Crocker with purpose, based on her years of experience as a practicing veterinarian and business owner. As an ER veterinarian and a longtime advocate for the veterinary profession, she built TC Veterinary Surgery as an affordable and accessible, surgery-only focused practice. Our hope is to serve pet owners across North Texas and act as a genuine partner for the veterinary clinics that refer to us.

We communicate thoroughly throughout each case and return every patient to their primary care team with complete documentation. Our Lead Surgeon
Dr. Tannetje Crocker, DVM — Founder
Dr. Tannetje Crocker founded TC Veterinary Surgery on the conviction that quality surgical care should be accessible and affordable.
Dr. Crocker brings a diverse and deeply rooted background to her role at TCVSC. She serves as an ER Veterinarian and has also owned Alta Vista Animal Hospital in North Texas since 2022. Her experience across emergency medicine, surgery, and practice ownership gives her a perspective that’s rare—and it shapes everything about how TCVSC operates.
Beyond the practice, Dr. Crocker is a sought-after speaker and a prominent voice in the veterinary profession online. She’s built a following of fellow veterinary professionals who look to her for honest, practical insight into the realities of modern veterinary medicine. That same transparency defines her approach with clients and colleagues at TCVSC.
